A Story Steeped in Sound

Thank you for checking out our website! Crystal Clear is a band created by 6 college students at the University of New Haven. Our main genres consist of Indie Rock, Indie Pop, with some added Pop/Punk. Even though we fall into certain genres, we try to make our sound and performances as unique as possible. Our goal as a band is to inspire people with our music and evoke emotion within our listeners.

The Band

Vocalist, Guitarist

Jake Goode

Apart form Crystal Clear, Jake's other job is a private chef. His specialties are: toast, cereal, and PB&J. People have come from far and wide to taste his Peanut Butter and Jelly. All of them leave knowing they will never again taste anything that compares to the heaven between bread that is Jake's PB&J.

Vocalist, Ukulelist, Banjoist

Ken Fabian

HI, I'm Ken, and I sing as well as play banjo and ukulele. I like art, music, and fashion. My friends and I try our hardest to make art that expresses our emotions.

Keyboardist

Jo Sinta

Jo Sinta has been playing piano since age 10 and has played in several bands and ensembles. In addition to playing piano. Jo enjoys writing songs, with special attention spent on lyrics. Jo likes cats very much and crochets really well.

Joey Stanca

Joey plays the electric guitar for the band. He has been playing for five years. Joey's major influences are the Pixies, Radiohead, Devo, and Sufjan Stevens.

Guitarist

Bassist

Stephen DeRose Jr.

Steve plays bass for the band. He has been playing electric bass for about 5 years. Steve's playing and sound has been influenced by Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, Nikki Sixx and Flea.

Drummer

Jameson Hegger

I'm Jameson and I make music by hitting things against other things and pressing buttons on a computer. I've been a percussionist since the age of 9 and a drummer since the age of 13. My biggest influences are, Thom Green (Alt-J), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Casey Cooper. Music is a tough choice for a career, but I feel that if I can inspire and affect at least one person, then my choice was worth it.
